Bamboo Cube Pavilion

The base is located on the bank of Daqingwu reservoir in Anji Peach Blossom Spring of Greentown, with quiet environment and beautiful mountains and waters. By reversing and reconstructing the contradictory concepts of regionality and modernity, workmanship and industrial sense, it presents a square and round box with high technology outside and simplicity inside, conciseness outside and richness inside. The stability of the structure is provided by the soft arc of the internal original bamboo structure, and the structural characteristics of strong axial compression capacity of bamboo is applied. A perceptual complex structural cavity is formed with rational and simple logic, which combines hardness and softness with unique structural beauty and charm. The red bamboo with antiseptic treatment, splicing and binding is used inside the pavilion to form three clusters of interlocking spatial structure supports, in a lily-like radial shape, interwoven into complex and orderly bamboo crystal. The outer surface of the pavilion is paved with frosted polycarbonate hollow sheet. The principle of flat tile stacking and open buckle structure are adopted to produce a squamous translucent state. In the daytime, it is hazy and milky white, like paper and yarn. In the evening, the light comes out from the inside, so warm and soft.
