In Istanbul Ikitelli Organized Industrial Zone, an existing building was expected to be expanded, partially demolished to add a warehouse building and raised by adding another floor. The existing structure was planned to be 15.000 m² and the additional areas would be planned as 8.505 m². It was among the expectations that vehicles would be able to enter the warehouse building and the loading and unloading would be provided in this way. The building that would be the base of the new floor was used as an office building. The "masjid" used in the basement floor had a dark, stuffy area. Since the area to be added to the last floor carries its own roof only, a solution with less columns and getting natural light from above was possible, our proposal to relocate the masjid to this floor was found appropriate. The mass of the newly discussed "warehouse" and the "masjid", which is considered as an additional floor, were solved with a mutual architectural language with the same material and similar forms. Thus, contrary to the language of the existing structure, the new design wrapping its top floor almost like it's leaning over was considered as a metal cover and teared in appropriate places to benefit from the natural lighting. The frames of these tears are highlighted in yellow to refer to the yellow color of the residential buildings in the vicinity. The vehicle entry and exit of the warehouse building is provided by a ramp designed at the front, and the entry and exit of the existing office building at the front is made from under the ramp attachment because of the adequate level difference. The dynamic roof of the mosque with a capacity of 520 people, the inward facing structure of the facade which is deafened with the possibility of receiving light from the ceiling, is in conformity with the function of worship inside. On the outside, it has eliminated the feeling of heavyness that may be caused by the addition of a floor to the building.
