Apart from the structural alterations and reorganization of the buildings the design aims at making their new content visible to the outside world. This is done by adding another storey on both buildings, thereby generating a concise sign of its new purpose. In addition, large openings are cut into the exterior walls, allowing insights into the interior of the bunkers and inviting the public to participate in their new contents.
