Located on the top of mountain, The Lungyen True Dragon Tower has silently carried countless stories of life during last 20 years. Considering its aging and orderlessconditions, the space needs to be optimized including its moving flow, interior materials, and the whole atmosphere. The designer ideates the concept “Light of Inheritance”based on the historical memory and architectural foundation of The True Dragon Tower. Guided by light, people can feel the space expressing solemn, continuation, and eternity of life. At the center of area stands statue of Bodhisattva, the curved back wall smoothly diverges from side to side in sequence, opening a cautious and secret prelude to the farewell ceremony. The VIP tablet area presents a new generation style. The arc walls dynamically develop outwards, creating centripetal guidelines. The terrace with light strips makes crystal plaques glowing and emitting, highlighting the delicate texture of crystal lotuses. The ceremonial hall features a modern, pure, and clean style. Through the arrangement of light and shadow, this room helps people mourn the deceased, entrust their thoughts, and welcome the future.
