The Hyatt brand is the epitome of sophisticated modern aesthetics, which, combined with the beautifully rich cultural context, creates a unique and inviting experience. This destination hotel boasts 268 keys, a presidential suite, conference room and broadcast lounge, banquet, spa, salon, gym, bar and pub, speciality restaurant and a kid's area. Designed to blend in with the local environment and culture, the hotel boasts breathtaking views of Dehradun and its surroundings. The interiors are inspired by Uttarakhand's rich history and culture, featuring indigenous artwork and luxurious amenities that create a sense of barefoot elegance. The design by AND Studio aims to provide guests with a connected and immersive experience, with interconnected social programs and public areas designed for visual permeability and liveliness. The hotel's aesthetic design is restrained yet exudes warmth and comfort and is a delicate balance of traditional motifs and modernist sensibilities. The lobby, with its clear views and interconnected spaces, creates a pleasant arrival experience for guests. The all-day dining and bar feature dramatic double-height spaces, while the pub and bar are inspired by the caves of Uttarakhand and feature a vibrant atmosphere. The banquet hall is designed in neutral tones and is connected to a large open lawn for outdoor events, and the guest rooms are designed for comfort and customization. Each space in the hotel tells its own story, adding to the overall narrative of Hyatt Regency, Dehradun. The project team's use of local materials, such as the 'chaap' wood, has been extensive throughout the property, lending a sense of authenticity and sophistication to the interiors. The use of beaten brass has been artfully employed throughout the space, enhancing the richness and depth of the design. The ceilings, covered in veneer, create a subtle yet striking effect, further underscoring the hotel's commitment to delivering a world-class experience. The hotel's design incorporates numerous unique features seamlessly woven into the property. For example, the Pinecone tree has been ingeniously integrated as a pattern on the walls and an installation, creating a seamless connection between visitors and the space. The use of sandwich glass between areas, with an image of the Dehradun mountain range, floods the interiors with natural light, highlighting the stunning design features. Each room has been thoughtfully designed to overlook the Malsi Forest, creating a sense of tranquillity and escape.
