Ilios is a Greek estiatorio which arises in the Nichupté lagoon, in Cancun, Quintana Roo. The fusion between both cultures makes you feel that you are in a magical place, full of history. In this project we change the focus and we are inspired by the mangroves, so that the central structure that supports the roof can be generated, "La Ceiba" is a tree venerated and sacred by various pre-Hispanic cultures in Mesoamerica such as the Mayans. Respecting the scale and proportion, with the openings of the structure at the same distance, the strings simulating the Greek columns and the beams the capitals, this is our minimalist and dematerialized reinterpretation of classical Greek architecture, just as it is inspired by the It mixes between the elements of Greek architecture mainly like Mykonos and Santorini with the Mayan ruins like Zama, Coba and Xel-Há.
