KWG Cohesion Co-working Space

The project is located in Kingboard Square, Hongqiao, Shanghai. The whole space is on the second floor of the shopping mall with an area of 2686㎡. Before undertaking this project, the GWP team did a year and a half of research on incubation shared space and visited more than 20 cities at home and abroad. The research fully analyzed the stages of incubation shared space from birth to evolution iteration to 3.0. The GWP team defines this project as the 2.0 version of incubating shared space. The main body is based on sub-rental workstation, but it hopes to create multi-overlapping functional space through ingenious design, while creating interesting shared space through creative design, so as to activate the users working here. The main entrance of the project is designed as a series of semi-arch shapes, like an open book. Making such a setting at the main entrance implies opening the door of entrepreneurship, so that everyone who enters the space is infected by a strong sense of ritual, connecting people with a new space. Ritual entrance and reception front desk, sofa leisure area is connected, gentle and soft wood veneer conveys beautiful rhythm, skillfully balances the hard white wall and original cement veneer, makes the space balance while full of vitality. Microphone is a small gadget that many people used as children. Designers transform the microphone and use color pipes to make the space decorated, but also to give space interaction. Through the addition of childlike elements, we can call friends after work. At this time, the busy and lack of communication partners will become intimate because of this small trick. In the narrow corridor, through the combination of black mirror and light band, and the vigorous color to embellish, so as to broaden the role of space while forming a fashion corridor full of shuttle feeling. The interactive device walls in energetic yellow-green add entertainment to the space. The use of color makes the space no longer monotonous, but matching with dynamic color, the restricted space reveals infinite charm. Furthermore, through the use of color, designers influence users’ emotions in a subtle way, giving people emotional experience in a gentler way. To create a relaxed and active working atmosphere, the office injects a touch of fresh light green. The low-key and elegant blue-green fabrics on the wall of the conference room are matched with fresh light green to create a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
