Located in Tangshan, Hebei, Zhongnan rLa Vera Lifestyle Center, a “Realm for Bodhi Meditation and Spiritual Cultivation”, is designed to be a glamping resort of seaside hot spring with zen-like landscape. Each place boasts its special disposition. The design fits well in the natural landscape of the place. It seems to be a paradise, so vivid and intriguing, luring people to explore more rustic charm. The deep integration of traditional Zen culture with modern living concept, embodying vastness and simplicity, awakens the original memory for humanity and the world, accompanied by a subtle poetic sense. Inspired by trees, architects deduce the structural units as a forest by seaside; landscape is designed to set the tree-like buildings off, just like sand under the forest. The natural street frontage is built by local materials -- raw gemstone, featuring simple and plain facade. The structure in the entrance is kept as low as possible for lateral ductility. In the back, a beautiful garden leads the way to a relaxed and pleasing journey. The most common materials in the locality are used to shape the hills and canyons in this funny, pure and enriching space.
