Bogota

This project is inspired by the natural world, specifically by symbiosis—a relationship in which two different organisms coexist and mutually benefit from one another. In this office project, that principle is translated into the creation of spaces that adapt and evolve in harmony with their environment and users, fostering mutually beneficial relationships. This adaptive approach allows spaces to be reconfigured according to changing needs, enhancing comfort, productivity, and well-being over time. The proposal focuses on flexible office spaces that accommodate various ways of working, actively promoting collaboration. Special attention has been given to areas for the exchange of ideas, such as interactive meeting rooms, collaborative common areas, and informal spaces that strengthen human connections. These spatial configurations respond to the MELI mechanism, which defines diverse and adaptive work typologies. The staircase, designed as the project's circulation core, connects all levels and activities, encouraging natural and spontaneous encounters between teams. The aim of Co.Net.Team is to create a workplace architecture that not only meets functional work needs but also enhances the quality of life for its users. The building goes beyond being a workspace to become a hub for social interaction, cultural exchange, and environmental care. We seek COnnection and COllaboration between nature and humans, bringing the outdoors inside and emphasizing organic forms—not only in aesthetics, but in how the space functions and is experienced. NET is born from weaving: from the grid, the pattern, and the people who inhabit the project and generate a living network between inside and outside. We draw inspiration from Bogotá’s materiality, especially in the use of brick, an emblematic material that establishes a dialogue with the urban context, creating a contrast of materials that adds richness and character to the project. This element not only contributes identity and warmth but also reflects the social and cultural dynamics of Bogotá, consolidating an architectural fabric with a strong sense of belonging. We promote teamwork as the foundation of the design, believing that through collaboration, more ambitious collective goals can be achieved. This vision aligns with the MELI culture, whose spirit is reflected in the project’s spatial, functional, and material decisions. The Mercado Libre project is more than an office building: it is a living network of collaboration, adaptability, and human connection in harmony with its environment.
