Premio Unic is a 340-unit condominium development in Bangkok that redefines urban living through an immersive, ecologically driven landscape. Seamlessly integrated into the site’s environmental context, the design sets a new benchmark for multifamily residential development in dense urban settings. At the heart of the project is a landscape strategy that balances resident experience with ecological restoration. An expansive green armature reconnects fragmented habitats, inviting biodiversity to thrive. The design draws inspiration from fingerprint patterns — a symbol of uniqueness — to generate spatial organization that subtly guides movement and social interaction. This pattern informs the layout of interconnected outdoor spaces, adapting fluidly to the building’s geometry and programmatic needs. Selective planting creates privacy, defines outdoor rooms, and supports wildlife habitation. These green zones function as miniature ecosystems, promoting biodiversity and ecological resilience within an urban framework. As a result, various species — from pollinators like bees and butterflies, to garden mammals like squirrels and birds — have begun to settle within the site, finding shelter, food, and continuity in the restored habitat. Above, a podium-level pool emerges within the tree canopy, offering tranquil views and a signature experience for residents. At ground level, shaded pathways and permeable surfaces enhance comfort and passive cooling — part of a broader climate-resilient design strategy that embraces natural ventilation and adaptive microclimates. Responding to widespread green deterioration, the landscape advances a vision for ecological continuity — where “green threads” mend the urban fabric, transforming voids into living systems that restore life, clean the air, and reconnect communities with nature. Premio Unic’s landscape offers a restorative model of urban living — where landscape architecture and ecology are deeply intertwined. Whether walking shaded paths, resting in secluded garden courts, or floating among the trees, residents share space with nature in a living landscape that celebrates resilience, design, and biodiversity.
