SHINEWOO: A factory playing magic color cube

SHINEWOO is an enterprise specialized in providing box-type power equipment integration and box-type intelligent building solutions for customers. It keeps cooperation with many international well-known enterprises, such as Kohler, Lei Shing Hong machinery, etc. SHINEWOO is preparing a new plant in Shanghai, China, covering an area of 16000 square meters and a building area of 9885 square meters. It is expected to be completed in October 2021. The plot where the factory is located is long and narrow, and the architectural layout is limited to a certain extent, so it has become a very long and narrow building. As the main facade of the new factory, the short facade on one side of the building needs to show the characteristics of the enterprise. In addition to the space for container production, the interior of the building also needs to design some living exhibition, office and leisure space. The design was inspired by the changing combination of "Magic Cube" - containers of all sizes produced by SHINEWOO, cleverly integrated at the factory's main entrance, creating a wealth of building façade space. Through the ingenious arrangement of box size and the architectural color, it not only creates a variety of office places for the factory, but also appropriately displays the characteristics of the company's products. Different from the monotony of the original container factory, the colorful space combination adds a lot of vitality to the original monotonous factory, and the modular combination method provides more convenience for container building function adjustments. The design creates a product three-dimensional model exhibition space for SHINEWOO. Each container is both an object of the facade composition block and a separate display model. Here, the facade is not only the epidermis of the building, it is also the building space. By reaching different locations on the facade of the building, the customer completes a complete tour of the model inter-room process.
