Designed by Shanghai based architecture studio TEAM_BLDG, the iconic double-storey building expresses a deep connection to the natural features. Triangulated roofs are sustained by metal bars evoking the space of a forest. The rigid geometry of the floor plan is softened by surrounding water features and the fertile green surrounding brought in by the transparent glass that defines the whole perimeter. The final architecture is established through transformation and combination of modern composition methods, intensifying the sense of space depth through different layers keeping a constant relationship with the exterior.
