The Tree House The idea took off from an old "Evergreen Ash Tree” that grew on top of the staggering mountains of San Mateo Rizal Philippines. This Design Concept is a creative product brought by the “Pandemic” addressing most of the things we observed and noticed during the lockdown. This modern “Tree House” is sustainably designed, its design inspiration illustrates and resembles the different parts of a Tree and its function, noticeably present and constantly branching to the different areas of the structure. The project will employ the use of green and sustainable features such as; solar panels, rain catchment systems, natural and sustainable materials, and likewise strategic allocation for edible landscaping by planting organic herbs and vegetables for food consumption situated under the stilts. Dynamic use of space to take advantage of such a beautiful view was created, a multi-functional area that transforms into a different space as the need requires. This modern masterpiece captures your soul and embodies the vision of a creator looking to boldly venture into the future and still maintain traditional nuances. This Eco-centric structure will not only mean efficiency and cost savings. Nonetheless, applying that farm-to-table concept will also improve health and will certainly develop the quality of life of every human being. Topography and the existing trees are two of the major challenges in this project, primarily utilizing the stilts as a cost-efficient approach for both structural and architectural design. Steadfast, on its commitment to pursue “Organic Architecture", which is rooted and founded on the firm green values of the author, the project was thoroughly assessed, strictly making sure that its natural surroundings would not be disturbed. Furthermore, creatively designing the structure around the Trees and punching the Trees through the slabs is a satisfying sight to gaze at from the inside and out. Becoming one with nature is the project “MANTRA”, breaking out from the normal yet going back to basics is one of the key elements which also serves as a guiding line for this project. Redefining spaces is one of the many things we value to impact people’s lives. Moreover, working on something that is already there, may seem to be a difficult task to undertake, but given the right mindset, strategy, and creativity, it can certainly work to the advantage of humankind. Moreover, just like a Tree, the designer's goal is to create that symbiosis between the end-user, the structure & those that nature offers. Lastly, with all the natural calamities and unfortunate events around the globe, it is our great calling to give that much respect to nature as architects, designers, builders, or any person for that matter, we should always bear that in our hearts that we should always have that great courage, love, and discipline to protect our environment. "Because Truly Nature Has its way of Nurturing Humanity".
