Villa Barrera

Nestled within a serene environment, VILLA BARRERA perfectly embodies Mediterranean minimalist design, seamlessly blending natural elements with luxurious living. With its clean lines, earthy tones, and thoughtful architecture, the house offers a harmonious retreat that soothes the senses. The planning indicated an equality of circulation to create the experience of a horizontal line at the end of the property that represents the moment when people go to watch the sunset at the beach. The building is divided into 2 buildings symmetricaly which contain 1 master bedrooms, 4 standard bedrooms, powder room, living room and kitchen. The design approach aimed at creating a private space in the middle of the residential context around the project site. The floor level was pushed down lower than the street level to create the higher height of the barricade wall around the house, which was shaped like the word ‘Barrera’ to prevent the sight of surrounded neighbours. On the other hand, internal living could gain more serenity during the day. The property's exterior boasts a contemporary facade, emphasizing geometric precision and natural textures that stand as a solid block of architecture. The highlight of the outdoor space is a pristine swimming pool, framed by sculptural walls with abstract patterns which is designed by reduce the realistic forms of PATTAYA elements such as palm trees, the beach, and the sun into 2D patterns that provide both privacy and artistic charm. Tall, slender trees punctuate the design, creating a vertical balance to the home’s horizontal profile. The material palette is dominated by earth tones, textured finishes, and weathered metals, enhancing its organic aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling windows blur the line between indoors and outdoors, flooding the interior with natural light. Inside, the design reflects understated luxury with a focus on comfort and simplicity. The living area features plush, modular seating in neutral tones, paired with curated dark wood decorative elements and sand stone.
