Xarefit

Introduction: Xarefit is an innovative fitness platform spanning an area over 3,000 square meters. This is not your conventional gym. Xarefit is committed to creating an elite high-tech fitness environment through the utilization of sophisticated leading-edge equipment and integrated software that allows for a complete user experience. In addition to reducing our carbon footprint, as well as offsetting onsite overhead costs, our environmentally friendly self-sustainable machines are capable of user-generated electricity. The Xarefit platform can be entirely managed through the Xarefit network sharing app. This includes: membership registration, course schedules and reservations, personal training schedules and reservations. Even entry and exit to the site is controlled through the app which further minimizes physical waste such as plastic membership cards. All training data can also be logged so that each member can keep track of their physical fitness goals. Practical, recycled, green building materials were also a focal point when constructing the gym. Recycled brick and wallpaper were used throughout the interior. Corkwood products were adopted in order to minimize noise as to not disturb other occupants of the building. Hard plastic laminate sheets were used to reinforce interior durability as well as fire safety throughout the site. In order to meet the constant changing needs of the coaches and trainers, the three classrooms can be partitioned and readjusted into smaller spaces for more private training environments. While the active zones of the gym were a main focus, we placed equal emphasis in the private areas as well. These designated rest areas are separate from the general section’s washrooms. They were specifically designed to maximize privacy so members can feel more comfortable and relaxed with ample personal space to either begin or wind down their visit.
