Design & Structure
A geometry-first museum: circular planning, continuous ramps, and a central void orchestrate movement as a single loop. The ‘computational’ story is precision—coordination of curved formwork, ramp slopes, and sightlines so the spiral reads as one continuous line rather than a series of segments.
Fair-faced concrete (for continuity and shadow definition), glass (to keep the spiral from feeling bunker-like), and water/reflective surfaces used to soften the mass.
The spiral ramps and ring-like plan behave as both circulation and structure—load paths are organized around the central void, keeping the building stable while visually weightless.
