ABHA MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT

The driving force for DLR Group’s design is the creation of a grand central public space anchored by a ceremonial entrance. This epicenter features both a dynamic water element as well as an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by cafes and retail which will create both a leisure and shopping destination. The fundamental planning behind this project is to create a central node where all food and beverage patios and terraces can have clear line of sight towards the central entertainment space. This is also possible through the significant elevation change across the site, allowing for different terraced levels to break down the scale of the development and offer views into the project as well as out to the surrounding mountains. The project comprises 43,000 square meters of retail, food and beverage, and entertainment gross leasable area; a 126 room 4-star business hotel; and a 120 unit serviced apartment building. The total project size has an area of 80,000 square meters. The project provides 1,200 parking stalls to accommodate the different uses.
