CLIENT Dubai International Real Estate SIZE 1,000,000 sq. m YEAR COST 1,100,000,000 USD CATEGORY Mixed-Use SCOPE Competition, Master Planning, Full Consultant Design, Supervision Services in JV with Kling Consult Following a successful competition entry Kieferle & Partner in JV with Kling Consult was in 2006 awarded its biggest commission to date the “Jewel of the Creek” a mega Mixed-Use development at the waterfront of Dubai’s initial base pulse, the Creek - and with a built-up area of over 1,000,000 sq. m. Inspiration for the winning of this international competition was drawn from the steady movement and flow of the Creek, reflecting not only the source of Dubai’s wealth, but also being a trigger and metaphor of its unique transition to an international destination and business hub. This guiding principle was used across all 17 towers, which have been designed in a soft edged, wave like manner, almost floating along the Creek.
