Office Space Reconstruction of KingJee Winsun

Space conditions: The new office space of KingJee Winsun was renovated in an industrial factory of the 1980s. The office space spans two buildings, with a height difference of one meter between the two buildings. The depth of the space is 30 meters. The lighting and ventilation conditions inside are poor. Space operation: Change the position of the entrance, and integrate the original trivial and isolated space; Use wide steps to connect the height difference between the two buildings, and the steps are also used to divide the public service area and office space; The high central lighting courtyard allows the office space to obtain uniform natural lighting. Exposed structure: We hope that the interior space and architecture can be a holistic expression, so exposing the structural framework of the original industrial building, hoping to evoke the historical memory of the past building for the users of the new interior space. The use of industrialized materials: most areas in China have completed the industrialization process, and industrialized building materials (birch solid wood multi-layer boards, polycarbonate hollow sheets, iron plates, aerated concrete blocks) are completely exposed in this space to present a simple aesthetic feeling. We hope to respond to the development process of society and encourage genuine and simple aesthetics.
