The design concept prioritised three key elements in its scheme: living in nature, user-centrism, and a deep association with the client’s business of hospitality. The integration and elements of gardens and nature allow us to reconnect, and step away from digital spaces. Tropical elements and the honest use of natural materials define both communal areas, promoting communication and collaboration, and private offices, offering visitors the discretion needed for confidential business. This is complemented with designing user-centric spaces, implementing modular construction methods, as well as strategic placement of horticulture and courtyards, to foster wellness, and promote wellbeing for its users. The commodious space is envisioned as a central living space where elegance and nature merge through the artful design of marquee fabric arches. These continuous and free-flowing arching canopies seamlessly blend into the garden surroundings while creating a sophisticated, hospitality-like environment and a serene space. The design emphasises smooth, uninterrupted lines, enhancing the space’s sense of openness and fluidity. The arch not only delineates each space but also serves as an inviting entryway, leading gracefully into various rooms and spaces. Within its pantry and individual rooms, we believe in leaving some emptiness within this canvas to allow for personalisation to help create a sense of “live-in and belong” through the curated use of neutral hues and materiality. The design of all spaces was central to the users' experience while fulfilling their different needs; with cosy, open, private and public spaces all co-existing in one holistic space.
