Slavutich

Living complex Slavutich is perfectly situated – near the Dnipro river, with magnificent view from windows and slavutich metro station in front of complex. Complex is staffed with five trapezoidal in plane towers, from 12 to 26 number of storeys, connected with stylobate. It was important task for us to create a living complex in one smooth form. That’s how five towers have appeared, connected with stylobate. It’s not five standard towers, repeated one by one, it’s a unified composition of forms, and exactly this idea was a leitmotif of complex. Everything you need is situated here: a kindergarten, fitness center with swimming pools, shopping mall, restaurants, cafes, and even hospital. And, of course, public space. The territory of living complex is compressed, but we still wanted to fill it with big amount of important and helpful functions. So, a creation of a public space on the roof of fitness center was perfect decision. Here are situated playgrounds, sports ground, a platform for basket, etc. To create a green zone on the top of parking was interesting decision to do. There are two types of parking in this project: underground and overground. On the top of second, which we call stylobate, are situated flower beds, and gardening. Condition system was developed for each apartment separately. Our client, was open for everything new, and even for experiments. From the very beginning of our collective work, we joined the atmosphere of understanding and harmony, and it provided us to realize courageous and irregular solutions in planning and facades. Performing planning structure, where facade columns are situated not within, but outside the building was first time in our practice. In result we got free planning decisions, without any constrains along facade wall. it provided a good quality of planning and volume facades.
