The concept of the office seamlessly blends the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of hospitality with a corporate character, the integration of carefully selected materials, thoughtful layouts, and touches of biophilia ensures a unique and inspiring workplace. With a human-centered design approach, we create spaces that promote wellness at all scales with strategies that encourage physical movement, support mental health and well-being, and foster inclusion. Biophilic elements such as indoor plants and natural daylight harvesting are integrated to enhance well-being, connecting occupants with nature and daylight, creating a healthier work environment. The use of carefully curated materials further elevates the office with a diversity of texture and luxury. Upholstery and accents with floral patterns introduce a touch of hospitality, adding softness and visual interest, while reflective and sophisticated metal finishes in champagne tones are strategically used for fixtures and details, providing a corporate edge. These are further paired with the incorporation of light timber elements that brings a natural warmth, balancing the corporate ambiance and creating a harmonious blend. Beyond logo and naming, the lift lobby is designed to encompass the brand’s identity through shape, textures and its grand arching ceiling. A challenge faced by the team when designing features such as a pitched or vaulted ceiling is being constrained by the complexity of the base building network of services. Upon entering is a hospitable reception lounge, a space of dynamism and a third space that enables solo works with meeting spaces while maintaining a heightened and welcoming atmosphere with the use of a mirrored ceiling and the use of fabric tapestry. The move to an open plan provides an opportunity where proximity matters between close collaborators or departments. It humanizes the space, enabling each employee to create their own experience and contribute meaningly to feel a sense of pride at work. The office is divided based on functions rather than traditional walls, allowing for a more fluid and adaptable environment that caters to diverse work styles that foster inclusion and promote physical movement and the sense of discovery and mystery, mimicking nature’s ability to surprise in the form of dramatic ambiance effects such as the scalloping vaulted ceilings in the conference room, immersive tubular pantry or landscaped huddle spaces. Across all 3 levels, there are a variety of social spaces that build relationships or to encourage teamwork catering to various job nature and are able to be transformed into dedicated areas for all-hands meetings and townhalls platform for larger groups.
