The entire building uses a free-plan structure — stone columns and iron beams with no load-bearing walls. Every apartment has a unique floor plan. The parking garage was designed before the car was common in Barcelona.

Design & Structure
Gaudí designed with 1:10 plaster models, sculpting forms that followed natural load paths. The iron structure uses catenary arches in the attic — visible on the tour. No blueprints: craftsmen worked from models and Gaudí's on-site direction.
Limestone façade from Garraf quarries, wrought-iron balconies, catenary brick arches in the attic. The undulating stone was hand-carved on site to Gaudí's specifications.
