La Manso flagship Store

The first flagship store for La Manso, a contemporary costume jewelry brand, is located in the Eixample district of Barcelona. This project encapsulates a unique blend of tradition and technology, epitomized through the integration of parametric design and 3D printing. The 25 m² boutique stands near the birthplace of the brand’s founder, Adriana Manso, and aims to elevate plastic jewelry to a luxurious status. The store design merges the floral elements of the modernist façade with the contemporary aesthetic of La Manso’s products. This approach results in a reinterpretation of classic decorations, showcasing a blend of digital craftsmanship, design, and technology. The interior features 3D-printed pieces that extend the exterior's organic forms into the space, creating large rosettes with futuristic glitches and bas-reliefs at varying heights. Inside, La Manso’s jewelry and accessories are displayed around a central table, illuminated by adjustable mini-spotlights. Mirrored surfaces expand the space visually, while a neutral, elegant coating provides an abstract backdrop for the jewelry. The lighting is strategically designed to highlight each piece, creates an intimate atmosphere that theatrically highlights each individual piece. A notable feature of the store is a small showcase window, reminiscent of traditional jewelry stores, allowing passersby to view the objects freely from the street. This design element bridges the interior with the urban environment, reinforcing the brand’s presence in the neighbourhood. The store's interior highlights the innovative use of 3D printing technology in creating custom-made furniture. This advanced technique integrates organic forms with contemporary design elements, embodying the brand's forward-thinking and creative approach. The resulting space is cohesive and sophisticated, highlighting the unique qualities of the jewelry and enhancing the overall customer experience.
